WHAT ARE BOTANICAL AROMATICS?

Our botanical aromatics in our personal inhalers and personalized support systems are hand formulated, to order in small batches with pure, clean, holistic plant goodness for your mind, body and spirit. 

 

Our inhalers contain the natural essence and therapeutic properties of pure essential oils in plant matter: Extracted from Seeds, roots, stems, leaves, woods, resins, bark, flowers and fruits. Using cold expressed, Co2 and mainly steamed distilled extracting methods that also produce aromatic hydrosols (aromatic plant water) used in some of our personalized support systems also containing raw honey and butters, natural clays and organic virgin and herbal infused oils, flowers and herbs, apple cider vinegar, Aloe Vera, vitamins and antioxidants among other pure botanical goodness. 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HYDROSOL AND AN ESSENTIAL OIL?

Essential oil is the plant's essence, concentrated potent and volatile chemical components obtained by steam distillation, cold expression or Co2 extraction (among other methods) of plant material: seeds, roots, stems, wood, bark, resin, leaves, flowers and fruit. Secondary metabolites used by the plant as protection and for communication. 

WHAT DOES HOLISTIC MEAN?

An understanding that all your parts are interconnected, making you whole. Here at botánicaromática, we take you, the whole person and your individual needs into account: mind, body and spirt, in all we do.

WHY DO YOUR PRODUCTS HAVE ONLY A 30 DAY STAY-FRESH LIFE?

We do not keep inventory. Our botanical aromatics are made fresh to order, using clean, raw, natural and organic ingredients (wherever possible), free of synthetic chemicals and preservatives, with a 30 day max stay-fresh shelf life following our use and storage recommendations. With the exception of our aromatic inhalers that can be used for up to 3 months depending on how often they are used.

WHY DOESN'T THE AROMA IN THE BOTANICAL AROMATICS HAVE A LINGERING FRAGRANCE?

Natural aromas found in pure, authentic and clean essential oils are fragrant, aromatic and volatile (easily turns to vapor in the air), some more than others such as Lemon vs. Sandalwood. They may not linger like synthetic fragrances found in perfumes, but they do evoke memory and could leave a lasting impression from your first inhalation.

WHO SHOULD NOT USE BOTANICAL AROMATICS?

Anyone who’s pregnant or nursing, experiencing any health conditions, taking any medications, allergic to the ingredients listed and children under the age of 18, without first consulting with their professional healthcare practitioner and persons anticipating overnight results.

HOW SOON SHOULD I BEGIN ENJOYING THE EFFECTS?

Think of our botanical aromatics as a complement to traditional healthcare practices and your daily lifestyle regimen: eating right, exercising, remaining hydrated, reducing stress and getting sufficient sleep, a journey not a destination. One size does not fit all and everyone has a different and unique daily experience. You may begin enjoying the effects within 3 months of using them consistently, and as directed, or sooner or later depending on your current lifestyle regimen.

HOW DO I PERFORM A SPOT TEST?

For topical products, apply a small amount of product to the inside of your wrist and cover with a bandage for 24-48 hours. If sensitivity occurs discontinue use.

WHAT IF I EXPERIENCE SENSITIVITY TO THE INGREDIENTS?

Discontinue use and do not use water. Remove any excess product with vegetable oil such as olive oil and a clean cloth to gently wipe the area clean. You may also mix oatmeal and water into a paste and apply it to the affected area.

WHAT DOES BERGAPTEN-FREE BERGAMONT ESSENTIAL OIL MEAN?

Bergamot is extracted from the rind of the Citrus bergamia fruit as are most citrus essential oils. Bergapten is a compound found in Bergamot essential oil which can be phototoxic causing an allergic reaction when used on the skin and exposed to sunlight. Bergapten-free Bergamot oil does not contain this phototoxic compound reducing this skin sensitivity.

WHAT PACKAGING MATERIALS DO YOU USE?

In an effort to help us reduce waste materials at botánicaromática and in your home, we pack your botanical aromatics responsibly in sustainable, recyclable and/or reusable containers: tin, glass, paper, cardboard boxes and packing materials.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAPPING?

Gift orders are gift bagged always free of charge. When placing an order, you will have the opportunity to submit a personalized message not to exceed 140 characters. If you do not wish to send a message but still wish to send a gift, simply write "This order is a gift" in the gift message space.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

Domestic Continental US orders are shipped free, standard mail within 5-7 days after an order is placed. International shipping rates vary by region. Contact us for your shipping rate.

If you provide your email address, we will also email you an order confirmation with your tracking number.

WHAT IF MY PACKAGE IS NOT DELIVERED?

Once your package is shipped, you must contact your local post office if you have a missing package showing as delivered.

 

botánicaromática is not responsible for your package once it has been picked up by the United States Postal Service for shipment to you.

 

You may call 1-800-275-8777 (1-800-ASK-USPS) to ask for the phone number of your local Consumer Affairs office regarding a Missing Mail request.

WHAT IF I PROVIDED AN INCORRECT ADDRESS?

If you provide an incorrect mailing address and your package is returned to us for insufficient address, we will re-send the package to you as soon as the correct address is provided and billed postage is paid. Due to our 30 day stay-fresh commitment to you, the life of a product may be reduced significantly.

HOW DO I CANCEL AN ORDER?

All of our botanical aromatics are formulated fresh by hand and made to order within 24 hours of your order being received.


You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it for a complete refund by emailing us  within 24 hours of placing your order at support@botanicaromatica.com.

 

All cancellations received after 24 hours of placing your order are nonrefundable and your order will ship.
